I had a great time walking around downtown Minneapolis - they have some really great old buildings that have been well kept. It's a really cute town. I used some Photoshop action presets from one of my Flickr contacts for all of the images - just felt right for the subjects. I just bought some more of her actions - hoping for some good stuff! I am simply too stinkin' lazy to create actions and presets in Lightroom myself. Horrible, I know... but that's why other people sell them ... because of lazy people like me. : )

Minneapolis : 24 hrs

This is my photo journal of my very quick trip to Minneapolis for Megan & Clark's wedding.  I flew in and took their Metro Transit, a very quick 30 minute ride straight into downtown, to the hotel.  My room wasn't quite ready so I went on a photo walk (still processing those photos).  The day after the wedding we (the Levine's and I) went to Key's Cafe for a most delicious breakfast, where I had the largest cinnamon roll I've ever seen.  Thank goodness Tracy and I split that baby!  We hopped in the car and headed uptown - a very cute little district with all sorts of shops and cafes.  I wish I would have had a little more time to explore this area, but hopped back into the car to go see the famous "spoon" sculpture in the park.  We saw four brides and their parties taking photos in the garden - it's a beautiful park with some very notable sculptures.  Next time I will actually go into the museum!  All in all, I think Minneapolis is a pretty cute little town!

Oh and they are expanding their transit system, so my trip back to the airport wasn't quite so efficient.  Thank goodness the Minnesotans are a helpful bunch.  I had a very nice man tell me about the work being done and where to go when we had to switch to the bus and shuttle to the airport.  Everyone was so friendly!
